Friday 21st May 2004, I was amazed to look at the evening sky. I had never seen such a beautiful sight of the moon in my life. Planet Venus was just touching the edge of the thin crescent of moon. It was so wonderful that I watched it for a long time.

It was only the next morning I came to know that I had witnessed a beautiful celestial event. It was a lunar occultation of Venus.
